It designs and manufactures full-range original turbochargers and related products for diesel/natural gas engines (over 3L), applied in commercial vehicles, construction machinery, mining equipment, marine power, and generator sets.
With headquarters in Huddersfield, UK, it has production bases in the UK, Brazil, China, the Netherlands, India, and the US, plus R&D centers in the UK and Wuxi, China.
Wuxi Cummins Turbo Technologies Co., Ltd. (established in 1996) mainly produces Holset® series original turbochargers (covering medium/heavy/light-duty products) for road/ water/rail transportation and generator sets. It has Cummins’ only Chinese tech center and has produced over 20 million Holset turbochargers, winning titles like “Jiangsu Provincial High-Tech Enterprise”. It partners with major engine manufacturers, supporting emission-upgrades, and develops low-carbon/zero-carbon solutions for China.
Cummins Fuel Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary with over 80 years of experience, has 5 global production bases (Indiana, US; Juárez, Mexico; Wuhan, China; Södertälje, Sweden; Pune, India). It makes electronic-controlled fuel systems for 6-78L diesel engines, balancing emission compliance with reliability, durability, power, and fuel economy.
Cummins Fuel Systems (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. (founded in 2007) offers full-set diesel common rail systems (fuel pumps, rails, injectors) to Chinese and global partners, while exploring zero-carbon components.
Cummins Software and Electronics develops cutting-edge software/electronics for commercial vehicles and industry, enhancing efficiency, performance, sustainability, and reliability.
Cummins China integrates teams from Beijing, Wuhan, and Wuxi to provide control modules, sensors, wire harnesses, and software-related services. It supports internal combustion engine business and expands into carbon-reduction fields. In 2023, it co-founded Kangzhuo Electronics with Zhuopin Intelligent Technology (Wuxi) to boost electronic control system R&D and production in China.
Cummins Valve Train (Jacobs Vehicle Systems), a wholly-owned subsidiary (headquartered in Bloomfield, US), has branches in China, France, Japan, South Korea, and India. Since 1961, it has made engine retarders for medium/heavy diesel/natural gas engines (over 10 million sold globally by 2024), offering valve train tech (cylinder deactivation, variable valve control, etc.) and services.
Jacobs (Suzhou) Vehicle Systems Co., Ltd. (established in 2008) provides commercial vehicle enterprises with professional products and end-users with cost-effective engine braking solutions, cutting TCO.
